Turning Scrap into Soul
Repurposed Fun & Folly's is a creative practice and emerging brand that transforms found, broken, or forgotten materials into meaningful, one-of-a-kind pieces.
We use repurposing as a metaphor for mental headspace, resilience, and self-validation — sharing stories, process, and philosophy to inspire others to create without fear, building community through honesty, humour, and creative play.
We encourage people to see beauty in imperfection — in objects and in themselves.
Producing artworks, objects, installations, and playful pieces that carry soul and story.
Sharing the emotional and philosophical layers behind each creation through social media and events.
Helping others find headspace and confidence through making — in workshops and NDIS sessions.
Bringing energy, creativity, and community connection to markets, workshops, and festivals.
Repurposed Fun & Follies creates a space where people who have lived through hardship, trauma, neurodivergence, disability, or emotional overwhelm can reconnect with themselves through creativity. The act of making something from discarded materials mirrors the experience of rebuilding a sense of self after difficult times. It shows that nothing — and no one — is ever "too broken" to become something meaningful.
Everything we create begins with something overlooked — a scrap, a fragment, a forgotten object. Through making, people discover a sense of control, a grounding rhythm that calms the mind, a safe way to express feelings without needing words, and a reminder that transformation is always possible.
Many people who visit our stall, workshops, or NDIS sessions have never been told that their creativity matters. Here, they are welcomed exactly as they are. We listen to their stories, encourage their ideas, value their unique style, and offer sensory-aware, inclusive setups. Every interaction says: "You belong here. You matter. Your creativity counts."
Clear zones for cutting, painting, assembling, and finishing. Every product is made with care and consistency, even when materials vary.
Materials are checked, cleaned, and sorted before use. "Repurposed" never means "low quality" — it means thoughtful, intentional, and sustainable.
Every piece is inspected during and after creation. Joints, finishes, and safety are checked — especially for pieces intended for children or workshops.
