Learn to see beauty in what others discard
Our workshops are designed for all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a curious beginner or a seasoned maker, there's a space for you at Dijor's. We specialise in inclusive, sensory-aware sessions that welcome everyone — regardless of background, ability, or experience.
Seeing Possibilities in the Overlooked, the Broken, and the Ordinary
Training the eye to notice what others ignore. Build observational awareness and learn to identify "materials hiding inside objects".
Breaking down curbside finds into usable components. Understand material categories and learn safe, efficient dismantling.
Using textiles as the backbone of repurposed art. Identify fabric types and learn basic fitting, shaping, and joining techniques.
Turning tiny pieces into storytelling elements. Buttons, beads, broken jewellery, and hardware as ornamentation.
From scattered materials to stable forms. Learn simple construction methods, stability, and display considerations.
Transforming materials into meaning. Develop a personal creative voice and use found materials as narrative tools.
Making your creation feel intentional and complete. Mounting, framing, lighting, labelling, and photographing your work.
Sustainability, respect, and community connection. Ethical scavenging, safety, hygiene, and building your creative headspace ritual.
Our NDIS-compatible creative support sessions use hands-on making as a tool for connection, regulation, and wellbeing. Sessions are sensory-aware, paced to each participant, and designed to build confidence through small, achievable successes.
Materials are prepared in consistent, safe, sensory-aware kits. Tools and supplies are checked before each session. Activities are adapted to ensure safe, inclusive, and predictable experiences for all participants.
